What can a VIN tell me?
A VIN can identify manufacturer-submitted vehicle attributes, such as make, model, model year and some powertrain details. Exact factory options need a separate authoritative source; basic decoding alone does not prove that an option is fitted.
Will my vehicle have a factory equipment report?
Coverage depends on the manufacturer, market, model year and licensed provider. This local MVP includes a clearly labeled BMW demonstration report. Real factory equipment purchases are unavailable until a licensed provider is connected.
Do I need an account or subscription?
No. The MVP uses a private browser session so you can explore the sample report without registration. Keep using the same browser to return to My reports. Clearing cookies removes access from that browser.
Is this a vehicle history or accident report?
No. Factory equipment data describes how a car was specified at production. It does not establish current condition, accident history, ownership history or whether parts have been changed. Always inspect the vehicle.
